This is the last weekend before we get going on our 2-month tent trailer trip!  We're not stressing about rushing out the door, which is nice.  We'll head up the coast first to visit friends in Brookings and Pistol River.  Then we'll cut over to Corvallis to visit more friends, then up the I-5 corridor for more social visits.  After visiting Patti's family in Spokane, we'll head up to Glacier and start the more concentrated camping part if the trip.

Originally we were going to go the the southwest (Zion and Bryce), then head north as it continues to heat up.  We were going to make a counterclockwise loop around the western states and put our social visits at the tail end of the trip; however, because of Grant's gallbladder surgery, we're reversing the direction.  It's unlikely we'll make it down to Zion and Bryce, since it will just keep getting hotter down there, so we'll likely save that for another trip, maybe in the Spring, and include the Grand Canyon.
